His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts
Ronny Krippner, Director
Monteverdi’s famous Mantuan masterpiece of 1610 is generally considered the most ambitious musical work before Bach and a prime example of Venetian choral and orchestral music of the early Baroque era. The Whitgift Chamber Choir, together with the Choirs of Croydon Minster, join forces with His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts under the direction of Ronny Krippner.
