G. F. Handel's Messiah
First performed in 1742, Handel’s oratorio is one of the best-known and most frequently performed choral works in Western music. The Whitgift Chamber Choir, the Choirs of Croydon Minster and the Whitgift-Minster Choral Society are joined by the esteemed London Mozart Players under the direction of Ronny Krippner. An unforgettable evening of music, culminating in a rousing rendition of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.

BBC Radio 3 Choral Evensong
After a break of more than 40 years, the BBC will be broadcasting live Choral Evensong from Croydon Minster, featuring the Minster Choir. Music to include works by How, Rose, Howells and Ireland.

Organ Inaugural Concert
Following months of extensive restauration work this concert marks the official inauguration of Croydon Minster’s historical Hill organ. The Whitgift Chamber Choir and the Choirs of Croydon Minster present a wonderful selection of English cathedral music, including Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb op. 30 and Elgar’s Te Deum op. 34, under the direction of Ronny Krippner.

Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem (7pm)
For some, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem) ranks as his greatest compositional achievement, profoundly affecting all who hear it. Finished in 1868, the Requiem appeared at the midpoint of his life and is full of hope and peace, making it the “Requiem of consolation”. The Whitgift Chamber Choir, together with the Choirs of Croydon Minster and the Whitgift-Minster Choral Society join forces with The Academy of Haling Park under the direction of Mr Ronny Krippner.

Christmas Concert at St George's Hanover Square, London (6:30pm)
A special evening of seasonal music at this wonderful Mayfair venue, presented by the Whitgift Choristers and Whitgift Chamber Choir. Traditional carols for choir and organ will feature alongside the Whitgift consort, performing Handel’s Organ Concerto in B Flat Major op.7/3 under the direction of Mr Philip Winter, together with Mr Ronny Krippner on the renowned St George’s organ.

Whitgift Chamber Choir Tour to Paris
Following their successful concert tour to Germany, the boys and men of the Whitgift Chamber Choir are visiting Paris this summer to perform the most glorious choral music in equally glorious settings. Venues include Saint-Sulpice, as well as the most famous of all cathedrals, Notre Dame.

Monteverdi’s famous Mantuan masterpiece of 1610 is generally considered the most ambitious musical work before Bach and a prime example of Venetian choral and orchestral music of the early Baroque era. The Whitgift Chamber Choir, together with the Choirs of Croydon Minster, join forces with His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts under the direction of Ronny Krippner.
