Choir Tour to Germany

During the last couple of years, the Whitgift Chamber Choir of Boys and Men have gained a reputation for choral excellence. Quite rightly, it was now time to send the choir abroad to spread the fame! So, the Choristers, together with Director of Choral Music Ronny Krippner, embarked on a 5-day concert tour of Germany at the beginning of July: they sang an outstanding concert at the fully packed Frauenkirche in Nuremberg, as well as services at Regensburg Cathedral and St Michael’s Church in Munich. A particular highlight was the choral concert at Marktredwitz (Upper Franconia), where an audience of more than 600 Germans “were completely taken by the performance and celebrated the Choristers with standing ovations – and quite rightly so!” (Frankenpost).
